New Year’s and Christmas celebrations at Ocean Plaza Shopping Center were filled with joy, magic, and creativity. This project was particularly memorable for its blend of festive decor and interactive activities, making it an exciting experience to document. The mall was alive with energy as visitors explored beautifully designed zones, participated in virtual reality experiences, and engaged in holiday-themed promotions.
The photo shoot aimed to capture the essence of these festive events for a detailed report to the shopping center. My role as an event photographer was to showcase the vibrant atmosphere, from the meticulously decorated spaces to the cheerful expressions of visitors enjoying the holiday spirit. Each zone was photographed carefully, ensuring that the decor, promotional activities, and interactive elements were highlighted.
A standout aspect of the event was the virtual reality activity. Guests downloaded the shopping center’s app, scanned designated spots, and uncovered magical characters hidden throughout the mall. Successfully finding all characters unlocked exclusive discounts and offers, creating a fun and engaging experience. Capturing these moments required both technical precision and a creative eye to convey the excitement and wonder of the activity.
Despite the short timeframe, the photo shoot was highly efficient and thoroughly enjoyable. I fulfilled all the client’s requirements, delivering high-quality images for their promotional needs while adding my personal touch as a corporate photographer. Visitors were able to download their photos from the mall’s official website, adding a personal connection to the event.
