Mid September light wrapped Positano in a soft glow, and this photo session began with a story that had already quietly unfolded the night before. Lucas had originally planned a surprise proposal during our photoshoot on the balcony of their BNB, but something shifted—he chose to keep that first, real moment just for the two of them. And honestly, it made everything that followed feel even more meaningful.
By the time we met for their photoshoot, Angi was glowing in a different way—calm, prepared, and fully present. She had chosen her outfits with care, her hair and makeup reflecting the warm, golden tones of the Amalfi Coast morning. Instead of chasing a surprise, we had the rare chance to gently recreate their proposal photo in the very place it happened, now filled with laughter, light, and intention.
As a proposal photographer, these are the moments I love most—when a proposal photoshoot becomes something playful and free. We moved slowly, capturing different angles, letting the sea shimmer behind them, turning a private memory into a collection of images they could relive together.
Afterward, we wandered through the narrow streets of Positano, letting the town guide our photography session. Sunlight bounced off pastel houses, soft shadows fell across stone steps, and every corner felt like it was quietly offering another frame. Later, we reached the main beach, where the energy shifted—more people, more movement—but still, we found space for a few lighthearted, candid photos against the iconic coastline.
It wasn’t a perfectly quiet morning, but it was real. And sometimes, that’s exactly what makes a photoshoot unforgettable.
