Josh and Jennifer chose to celebrate their first anniversary not with something grand, but with something deeply personal. As a photographer, I could feel from the very beginning that this photography session was about presence - about honoring love, family, and time itself. They brought their closest people to the Amalfi Coast, to a place they hold close to their hearts: the breathtaking Grand Hotel Tritone.
Perched above the sea, with a view stretching toward Positano, the hotel feels almost suspended between sky and water. Hidden within it is a small chapel carved into the rock, like a quiet cave filled with history and light. This is where their ceremony took place - intimate, soft, surrounded by the sound of the sea somewhere far below.
One of the most touching parts of this wedding photography story was how carefully they carried memory into every moment. Photographs of loved ones who are no longer with them were present throughout the day - in the chapel, during the photo session, at the reception dinner. It didn’t feel heavy. It felt full. As if no one was missing.
After the ceremony, the celebration unfolded slowly: a gentle aperitivo, conversations, laughter, and later, an elegant dinner with those who truly matter. I moved between photo and video, capturing not just how everything looked, but how it felt - subtle gestures, glances, the quiet understanding between them.
