The photo session with Aidan and Mardi began long before the camera was in my hands. I picked them up in Salerno just after sunrise, and during that short drive to Ravello, something special already unfolded between us. As a photographer, I always feel when a connection comes easily—and with them, it truly did.
Early September on the Amalfi Coast feels gentle and alive at the same time. The light is soft, the air still warm, and Ravello slowly wakes up with golden reflections over the sea. Our photoshoot lasted just an hour, but it felt full, like a whole story told in quiet moments and laughter.
Mardi had this beautiful openness—she allowed herself to feel, to be seen, to enjoy every second of the photography session. There was something almost freeing in the way she moved, smiled, and trusted the process. Aidan watched her with so much warmth, and at one point, he even asked me to spend a little extra time focusing just on her. He could see how much it meant to her.
The day before, he had already made his proposal in Salerno. During our shoot, we gently recreated that moment—him on one knee, her smile glowing in the morning light. This wasn’t about surprise anymore; it was about reliving the feeling. A proposal photoshoot like this always feels more relaxed, more playful, and somehow even more intimate.
We wandered through Ravello, stopping at quiet corners and panoramic views, letting the story unfold naturally. No pressure, no rush—just two people enjoying the beginning of their next chapter, and me, capturing it all as honestly as I could.
