This cozy Christmas session was all about love, light, and little furry paws. An adorable Italian couple brought their two sweet cats along for their holiday photo shoot, and honestly, it was the perfect festive touch.
Instead of the usual studio, we had the chance to shoot in a very special location — a local agricultural shop in a small Italian town. Every year, during the winter holidays, they turn it into a magical Christmas wonderland with trees, lights, and all the festive charm you could imagine.
We planned the shoot for the afternoon, during Italy’s lovely siesta time — when shops close for a few hours and the streets get quiet. It gave us the perfect opportunity to shoot in peace, without interruptions.
Sure, I had to spend some extra time later cleaning up a few price tags in the background, but the result? Totally worth it.
These photos turned out full of tenderness, joy, and a kind of authentic Christmas magic that’s hard to find in the warmer regions of Italy. No fake snow needed — just a loving couple, their cuddly cats, and a space filled with twinkling lights and holiday warmth.
I’m especially grateful to the kind people at the shop who welcomed us so warmly and let us turn their decorated space into a setting for memories. This shoot reminded me that even in small towns, you can find big magic, if you know where to look.
